Do you know how the pound cake recipe got its name?

It’s because there’s an equal part ratio between all the ingredients used to make the cake. Isn’t that neat? It’s pretty obvious when you think about it but as for me I had no clue!

One thing I do know is that even in all its simplicity pound cake is still one of my favorites.
