My Pound Cake Recipe Collection
Do you know how the pound cake recipe got its name?
It’s because there’s an equal part ratio between all the ingredients used to make the cake. Isn’t that neat? It’s pretty obvious when you think about it but as for me I had no clue!
One thing I do know is that even in all its simplicity pound cake is still one of my favorites.
The thing that’s particularly awesome about this cake is that you can enjoy it plain or use it as a base for any flavor combination.
- Chocolate frosting with raspberry filling.
- Butter cream frosting with cherry filling.
- Cream cheese frosting with blackberry filling.
The possibilities are endless!
